Yes. Every piece in the Caratmoon Jewelry collection is set in genuine 925 sterling silver. There are no plated base metals, no silver-toned finishes, and no exceptions across the range.
What does 925 actually mean?
What does 925 actually mean?
It means 92.5% pure silver, with the remaining 7.5% made up of other metals that give the silver enough strength to hold a stone and survive daily wear. Pure silver on its own is too soft to work as jewelry. The 925 standard is recognised across the USA, UK, Australia and Denmark, and it is the mark buyers look for when they want to know silver is real.

Where do I find the 925 stamp on my piece?

On rings it sits inside the band. On bracelets and necklaces you will usually find it near the clasp or on a small tag beside it. On earrings it is on the post or the back of the setting. The stamp is small, so a phone camera zoom is often easier than the naked eye.

Sterling silver can darken over time. That is normal, it happens to all real silver, and it is one of the ways you can tell silver is genuine rather than coated. It is not damage and it is not permanent.
Storing your piece in its gift box between wears slows the process down considerably.

It means the piece is solid 925 sterling silver underneath, with a layer of 14k or 18k gold applied over the top. You get the warmth of gold with the substance of real silver beneath it.

Same principle. A layer of 18k rose gold over a 925 sterling silver base. It is the finish our Rose Quartz pieces are known for, and the softest of the three tones we carry.

We carry two kinds of stone and we always tell you which one you are looking at.
1. Natural stones are earth-mined. Our rose quartz, amethyst and citrine pieces fall into this group.
2. Artisan-crafted stones are created in a controlled setting rather than mined. Our corundum and cubic zirconia pieces fall into this group, and the product page says so plainly.
Both are real materials. Neither is a substitute pretending to be the other.

It means the stone was made rather than mined. Artisan-crafted stones are cut, set and finished the same way natural stones are, and they hold colour with a consistency that mined stones cannot always match.

Close, though natural stones carry small variations in tone and marking because they formed that way. Two rose quartz rings from the same batch can sit slightly different in the light. Artisan-crafted stones are far more consistent piece to piece.
Screen calibration also plays a part, so colours can read warmer or cooler than they appear in your hand.
